Tests of forms, materials and symbolic meanings.
Associative thinking and its relation to the form design.
The process is based on „ad hoc“ working methods as the contrast to current „conceptual practices“. Getting rid of the conceptualization of work based on architectural plan.
//Lévi-Strauss in his book Wild thought puts work with concepts typical for engineers in opposition to the thinking of a „primitive man“ which is based on work with symbols. Lévi-Strauss compares this primitive way of thinking to the practice of a „craftsman“ (bricoleur) who uses specific objects in the way he interprets its form in relation to his work and according to how environment and limited working conditions allow him to use them. The scientist works with concepts and grasp reality with minimal influence of personal experience. The craftsman works with symbols that are specific in its aspect of humanity. He creates structures using events, while the scientist creates events using structures.
As the culture does never get rid of meanings, the voluminous superstructure of meanings is growing up mixing the primitive elements with elements of the 21st century. However these new elements do not escape those primary patterns far away, because the basis of human thinking still works in analogous patterns.//
